The Seiko 7S36-01G0 is part of the first generation of the Monster product line that was first introduced in Japan around mid 2000, Initially Asian market only and then North America shortly after, four variants were made. Around 2005 Seiko made three ultra limited (for Seiko) variations for the Thai market that included the watch we have for sale here, the Blue Monster. 1800 of these were made in total with a slightly different movement to the original four variants. Its become a cult Seiko collectors watch alongside the yellow and red Monsters. At the time of writing this, not a single one is for sale worldwide, pretty insane for a brand that produces millions of watches per annum.
This example is in great condition, the case is unpolished and the dial and hands are unmarked. It comes on its original bracelet that will accommodate a 19cm wrist.
The movement is running superbly at -3 s/d, 260 amps with a beat error of 0.3.
I (Stef) will admit, when i first laid eyes on this watch, my gut reaction was, 'what on earth is this?', its not called the Monster for nothing. But after spending some time with it and wearing it a little, its really has grown on me. The proportions on the wrist are actually superb and the blue is very vivid in the flesh. Here is your chance to own a real word rare Seiko that definitely stands out from the crowd.
