The modern yet classic Submariner, the 14060 came after the 5513 and was released in 1990 with several updates. Sapphire glass, an updated and now Chronometer rated Calibre 3000 movement as well as the now common place uni-directional bezel. In 1999 came another change, the M (modified) came out and saw the reference through until 2010. The luminous material now changed to Super-Luminova and the movement to the modern 3130.
Its often called 'the last of the best' Why? Well it was slim, robust, and had that classic look that was never to be repeated once Rolex went to maxi cases. The watch does everything a modern sub does but with a low profile, this model, unlike other sports models, the 14060 kept its drilled lugs until the end of production, this is great if you ever decide to change the bracelet for a leather or rubber strap.
The watch comes complete with all of its paperwork, tags, box and booklet. It was serviced by Rolex in 2020 and is still running perfectly.
