The Rolex Submariner 16610 is arguably the most recognisable member of the Submariner family. It’s the watch that elevated the Submariner from a practical tool watch to a global status symbol. Produced for an impressive 23 years, from 1987 to 2010, the ref. 16610 underwent numerous dial and case variations—tritium, Luminova, Super-Luminova dials; holed case; no-hole case—the list goes on.
The present example dates back to 2002, and features a "Swiss Made" Super-Luminova dial, solid end links, but retains the holed-case. The dial on this is spotless, and the case is equally good with full lugs and crown guards. There are only hairlines on the case and bracelet. The original full link 93250 bracelet with "DT" (2002) clasp has mininal stretch.
The movement came to us in great health, its running well at +3 s/d, 266 amplitude, and with a 0.5 ms beat error. The watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes, wallet, anchor, and the original guarantee.
