The Rolex Day-Date, renowned as Rolex's flagship model, stands on par with the celebrated Submariner in terms of iconic significance. Historically, this model has been chosen by individuals from the realms of cinema, royalty, and global leadership, speaking to its universal appeal and distinguished design.
As the fourth iteration, the 118200 series introduced a few new upgrades most notably the heavier solid link president bracelet, this adds about a third more weight to the watch overall. The case is ever so slightly thicker to accommodate the solid end links and the finishing on the lugs is now fully polished, rather than brushed on top.
This iteration, the 118235 is the lesser seen rose gold variant, these really are a hell of lot more uncommon than their yellow gold sibling. This example has the brilliant white dial with rose gold roman numerals. The case is in great shape and so is the bracelet, the bracelet is two links short and will accommodate up to a 17.5cm wrist. Extra links can be purchased directly from Rolex.
The watch comes with its original large box, wallet, papers and booklet.
The movement is running at +1 s/d, 290 amps with a beat error of 0.1.
Although these are more than their older version the 18238, the 118200 series wears exactly like a modern 36mm and for half the price.
