The Speedmaster is one of the world’s most iconic watches, it needs no introduction. The model itself Is one of the most intriguing to collectors as its one that has subtly changed almost yearly since its inception, in 1957. The model we have here is the third “post-Moon” version of the Speedmaster and the first with a flat dial.

This 022-74 has one of the best dials we have seen in a long time, clean with a beautiful creamy patina, but more importantly, the watch hasn’t been changed in any way, it’s totally original, the B2 Dot Close to 70 bezel is correct, the flat c2 dial, Baton Flat hands and 1171/633 bracelet. The watch has recently had a movement overhaul, it runs at +2 with 270 amps. 

With the straight cased marques becoming more and more unattainable to most, these early tritium models are a perfect way to get yourself into a wonderful everyday moon watch, with character.
