As you can see from some recent listings, we love a CWC Navy Diver here at Fathom, we feel they are still massively under appreciated and under represented watches in the world of military horology. Hopefully as time goes on, we can play a small part in making these issued gems more common place in collections worldwide.
For those who aren't au fait with the brand or the Navy Diver. CWC or Cabot Watch Company was founded by Ray Mellor in 1972 with the sole intention of supplying watches to the British military and government organisations.
From 1980 to the early 00's, CWC produced the Navy Diver, it was in fact the watch that replaced the Rolex Milsub. Around 3000 were made over its twenty year production. This particular example from 1995, around 300 to 500 were made in this year.
The tritium dial and hands are in great condition, no signs of water ingress. The case and bezel have marks as you would expect with an issued watch i guess, We have had a new battery fitted and the watch pressure tested ready for the next owner to enjoy the watch as intended. We have several CWC nato's in stock which we can pair depending on your preference.
