The Santos Carrèe is one of Cartier's most iconic designs, first introduced in 1978 as part of the new Santos de Cartier range, this was Cartiers attempt at a sportier range inspired by the Genta designs of the time. This model donned a newly designed integrated bracelet for the very first time.

This is believed to be the rarest configuration of the 2960, known as the Ghost Dial. The stunning Cartier typography in gold is the only print present on the brushed grey dial, it's a real head turner.

The watch is in unpolished condition and has some minor marks on the dial. Bear in mind, these marks are difficult to see with the naked eye compared to the photos. The bracelet is large and watch will accommodate an 18cm wrist. 

The ghost dial Santos is one of the most sought after Cartiers in the world at present, with around 2000 examples in grey known, of which with this typography and brushing, the exact number is still a mystery. Expect these to continue to increase in popularity as more and more people are finding these vintage delights.
